Representative Riggs Reacts to Last Week’s Budget Withhold

Governor Mike Parson announced a $209 million budget withhold last week. Representative Louis Riggs reacts to the additional restrictions.

About $41 million in cuts comes from the Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, and more than $131 million impacts the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Riggs represents Shelby, Marion, and Monroe Counties.
