The Moberly man who faces 31 charges after being accused by five girls between the ages of six and 13 of sexual contact and making them watch pornographic videos, now faces charges in a new case. Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney Stephanie Luntsford has filed the new counts against 43-year-old Scotty Gene Reynolds.

According to court documents, the charges in the original case are for incidents alleged to have taken place in Randolph County since January. However, the girls told police more incidents took place in the state of Florida prior to this year. Reynolds appeared in court on those charges earlier this week, where he had been represented by Moberly Attorney Gillis Leonard.

Luntsford says these can be emotional cases.

The suspect was arrested in Springfield in August and remains in custody.
