Returners leading Lady Spartans following Flood’s graduation

A host of returners are preparing to fill the void left from the graduation of All-State guard Sydney Flood for the Moberly Lady Spartans this season. The leading returner is senior Mary Billington. Coach Tony Vestal says it will be up to the others to step up.
Vestal says another returner, Lauren Koenig, has had a good preseason.
Vestal also plans to get some big minutes from incoming freshman Kennedy Messer.

The Moberly Lady Spartans open their season tonight at home against Monroe City. Scott Lunte will have to call on Superstation KRES with pregame starting at 7:05.
