Retired MSU Ag Professor Named To Governing Board

A former director of the Darr College of Agriculture at Missouri State University will now serve on the university’s board of governors.  Doctor William Anson Elliott of Fair Grove was named to an open seat on the board by Missouri Governor Mike Parson.  Elliott became director of Missouri State’s ag college from 1980, leading the program until his retirement in 2016.  Since 2018 he’s worked as the Agriculture Senior Advisor with Convoy of Hope.  Elliott currently serves on the boards of the Missouri Ag Leaders Of Tomorrow and Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation.  He was one of 11 appointments to state boards and vacant county offices announced Monday by Parson.
