Representatives Comment on House Ethics Committe Report

A report released by the chair of the Missouri House Ethics Committee states Speaker Dean Plocher obstructed the investigation into a complaint against him over false expense reports, trying to hire a company outside of the normal bidding process, and threatening whistleblowers. Republican Danny Busick of Newtown doesn’t expect the report to change much.

Democrat Adrian Plank of Columbia says it shows the Speaker and his allies have too much power.

Plocher is one of the Republican candidates for Secretary of State this year.
