Representative Busick Discusses Right to Repair

State Representative Danny Busick of Newtown isn’t sure yet how he’ll vote on Representative Barry Hovis’ bill that would give farm implement mechanics a right to repair.
Busick says manufacturers are concerned that farmers and repair shops will bypass some safety measures.
Manufacturers also have concerns about proprietary computer codes on the machine’s chips being copied. House Bill 2402 was referred to the Agriculture Policy Committee. Busick is on that committee.
