Rep. McGaugh Discusses House Budget Committee Focuses

Missouri House Budget Committee member, Representative Peggy McGaugh, explains how the first couple of meetings of that committee will play out.
Federal COVID-19 aid money has delivered a 2.8 billion dollar surplus for the state’s budget. McGaugh says organizations and departments that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic should be helped by the extra money.
McGaugh also expects rural broadband expansion to be another focus of the Missouri House Budget Committee.
