Representative Lewis Highlights Differences in House and Senate Versions of Budget

Last week, the state Senate passed its version of the budget. State Representative Ed Lewis, who a member of the budget committee, highlights some of the notable differences in the two chambers’ proposals.
Like the House budget, the Senate did not include Medicaid expansion in its version. Lewis doesn’t think Governor Mike Parson will intervene and include it.
The budget must be completed by Friday.
