The Missouri House of Representatives is scheduled to meet Tuesday to discuss the new congressional map for Missouri. Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch of Hallsville explains how the map is currently laid out.

The House is expected to debate for up to six hours Tuesday. Toalson Reisch explains where the House currently sits in the redistricting process.

Toalson Reisch represents the 44th District, which covers portions of Boone and Randolph counties. She says the ongoing redistricting process will likely change things for her district.

The Missouri House Redistricting Commission also added an amendment that creates an emergency clause in order for the new map to go into effect once Governor Mike Parson signs it.
