There’s still no decision on the future of 911 operation in Randolph County. Presiding Commissioner John Truesdell says the consultant hired by the county, the city of Moberly, and the Randolph County Ambulance District pointed out the deficiencies in calls coming into the current system.

Truesdell says some of information about the call shows up on displays at the Moberly Joint Communications 911 center, but not at the ambulance district, so it needs to be communicated manually.

The three organizations plan to have another meeting with the consultant to determine what upgrades are needed.
