Randolph County continues to work through the process of expunging past marijuana convictions, as mandated by Proposition 3, which voters passed last November. Prosecuting Attorney Stephanie Luntsford says the state failed to give counties resources or guidelines on how to do this.
Luntsford says her office is getting daily notifications of “very high numbers” of expunged records. She suggests if anyone has a previous conviction that they think is eligible to be expunged, they should contact the circuit clerk’s office with their name and a case number if possible.
