Randolph County Sheriff Improving Financial Efficiency in Randolph County Jail

Randolph County Sheriff Aaron Wilson joined KWIXLand This Morning last week to discuss the programs he has started in the Randolph County Jail to help improve its revenue.

The 357 thousand dollar surplus is from a combination of commissary and phones. Wilson explains how the money is made.

Wilson adds the programs have allowed the sheriff’s office to purchase a 138 thousand dollar body scanner without using taxpayer money.
