A one-vehicle accident in Randolph County injured three people and led to the arrest of a Clark man. According to the Highway Patrol, a truck driven by 31-year-old Jay Hager was driving west about one mile south of Higbee on Route B on Friday afternoon when he drove through an intersection and struck an embankment. His truck overturned with two juvenile passengers. One female, age 1, and one boy, age 3 were in the truck at the time of the crash.  All three were transported by ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center with injuries. Troopers later arrested Hager and charged him with a felony of tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, endangering the welfare of child-two times, DWI, drugs-possession of drug paraphernalia, multiple felony warrants, and various traffic charges. Hager was taken to Randolph County jail on a 24-hour hold. The highway patrol was assisted by the Randolph County Sheriff’s Department and the Higbee Fire Department.
