Randolph County Covid Cases Are Gradually Rising

Although COVID cases in Randolph County haven’t had a dramatic increase, the trend has been higher with the changing seasons. Randolph County Health Department RN’s Carla King and Dawn Martin were our guests on KWIX Tuesday.

There are currently 69 active cases in Randolph County, which is up six from the previous report. Once a test is positive, King explained how the COVID variant is determined.

36 percent of Randolph County residents are fully vaccinated. 41.7 percent have initiated the vaccine series. The Randolph County Health Department will close Thursday at 1 and remain closed on Friday for the New Year’s holiday.
