Randolph County Central Dispatch Plan Inching Towards the Finish Line

Plans continue to take shape for a Randolph County Central Dispatch Center. Moberly City Manager Brian Crane says there is still plenty of work to be done after this week’s city council meeting.

The multi-jurisdiction effort to convert the current 911 center at the Moberly Police Department into a central dispatch center dates back to 2018. Crane says once a plan is approved, more work will be needed to make the center a reality.

The measure would go before Randolph County voters within the next few years. The next Moberly City Council meeting is May 15th.
