Putnam County Leads Area Teams in Latest State Baseball Poll

The Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its newest high school state rankings. Area teams feature prominently once again in Classes 1 and 2. The Putnam County Midgets have taken over the top spot in Class 2 after being ranked second in the previous poll. A total of four area teams are featured in Class 1. Green City is ranked seventh, Cairo eighth, Knox County ninth, and La Plata is tenth. Community R-6 is receiving votes in the new poll.
