Public Focus Groups on Boone County Health Priorities Scheduled

The Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services, in partnership with Live Well Boone County is seeking participants for a series of focus groups as part of the Community Health Assessment process. The focus groups are being used to gather information on health priorities in Boone County. There will be a total of eleven focus groups around the county, with three of them being open to the public. The first of these public focus groups will be in Centralia on March 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Centralia City Hall Community Room. The other two will be April 5th in Columbia at PHHS and April 18th in Ashland at the Southern Boone County YMCA. Both of those focus groups will also be from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Registration is required and each focus group is limited to twelve people. All participants will receive a 25 dollar gift card, a meal, and child care if needed.
