Among the topics of discussion during the November Milan School Board meeting, was an update on the Milan School District’s building project. Milan Superintendent Dr. Ben Yocom says the contractor is making good progress so far.

The early progress means the project is on schedule. Yocom says he and the board discussed some scheduling challenges the district will face in the coming months due to the building project.

Known as the Better MC2-Project 2020, it involves construction of a large cafeteria, a library-media center, and a new gym. The project is scheduled to be fully completed in November 2020.
