Preliminary Numbers Show Increased Harvest for Missouri Spring Turkey Season

The 2023 Missouri Spring Turkey Season finished last week. Monroe County Conservation Agent Jessica Filla says preliminary numbers from the season show positive trends.

The top harvest county was Franklin with 945 birds taken. Filla says several local counties contributed significantly to the local harvest.

All of the local spring turkey harvest numbers are up from the previous year.
