The Milan School District is preparing to move forward on the next phase of its long-range building project. Superintendent Dr. Ben Yocom says they’re having to decide on one of three different projects to tackle first.

The top priority is to add the additional elementary classrooms first. Yocom says rising costs are part of why the district has to pick and choose which projects to tackle.

Yocom adds a timeline for these projects is very tentative.

The Milan School District is in the process of submitting requests for proposals for the building projects.
