Plank Working to Get More Apprenticeships for Released Prisoners
State Representative Adrian Plank of Columbia met with representatives from the carpenters’ union last week to see about what could be done to help people being released from prison.

Plank says meaningful employment could also keep former prisoners from hanging with the wrong crowd.

Plank is also working on bill to help former prisoners get transportation by helping charities get tax credits for buying used fleet vehicles from the state.
