Plank Diagrees With Missouri Sending Help to U.S.-Mexico Border

The Missouri House last week heard the governor ask for 2.2 million dollars to fund sending state troopers and National Guard members to Texas. State Representative Adrian Plank of Columbia says Missouri tax dollars should not be spent helping Texas Governor Greg Abbott.

Plank says the state tax dollars would be better spent here.

Plank says Missouri could also address immigration issues without sending personnel out of state.

Plank also said if the far-right was serious about fixing problems at the international border, it wouldn’t have killed the federal bipartisan reform bill that was negotiated last month.
