Plank Combining Several of Last Year’s Marijuana Proposals

State Representative Adrian Plank will combine some of his proposed bills from last year cleaning up several areas of state law following the voter approval of recreational marijuana. One part would allow public smoking in places that allow tobacco cigarettes.

Another provision would require public universities to allow medical marijuana on campuses.

Plank would like to see the federal government remove some of its restrictions in order to help small businesses.

Another part would allow inmates serving time for non-violent marijuana offenses to directly petition the court to vacate that sentence.
