Pilot Grove Man Seriously Injured in Cooper County Accident

A Pilot Grove man suffered serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident in Cooper County at 5:40pm Friday. The Highway Patrol reports 23-year-old Lane Mize drove north on Highway 135 a half mile north of Cheyenne Drive when he traveled off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and overturned in a ditch. Mize headed to a Columbia hospital by ambulance.
