A former Bevier standout is the new boys basketball coach at Keytesville High School. Colby Peukert was hired this week according to Superintendent Josh Shoemaker. Peukert is a 2016 graduate of Bevier High School and was a two-time KRES All-Star. This will be his first head coaching job. Peukert replaces Michael Draper, who resigned to take the boys basketball job in the Stockton school district. Football coach Kevin Gundy will take on Draper’s duties as Keytesville athletic director.
