Pedestrian Killed By Train in Shelby County

An individual was killed Monday after being struck by a BNSF train in Shelby County. The Highway Patrol says at 12:30pm, they were dispatched for a train versus pedestrian call between County Road 409 and Route TT. The patrol is attempting to locate and notify the next of kin. The cause of the individual’s death is still being investigated.
