Pauley-Back To Missouri State

A three-time KRES All-Star from Milan High School will land back at Missouri State. Lady Bears women’s basketball head coach Beth Cunningham announced Wednesday the signing of transfer Cady Pauley. Pauley has two years of eligibility remaining.

Pauley was originally a member of the Lady Bears’ 2022 signing class, but went with former Missouri State head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton to the University of Virginia, where she has spent the last two years.

As a sophomore at UVA, Pauley appeared in 20 games, averaging 2.9 points per game and shooting 31 percent from the field. In her freshman campaign for the Cavaliers, Pauley made 24 appearances, averaging 3.5 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. She also knocked down 22 three-point field goals as a freshman.

At Milan, she scored 3,074 career points which ranks eighth all-time in Missouri girl’s basketball history, and she was a four-time unanimous All-Conference selection and a four-time first-team All-District honoree. Pauley was also a two-time Class 3A All-State selection and was named a McDonald’s All-America nominee. As a senior, she averaged 33.0 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.
