Missouri governor Mike Parson made a significant announcement during his Coronavirus briefing Monday.

Parson also acknowledged that this year’s state budget will likely see a significant shortfall due to the pandemic. Missouri’s governor also signed an executive order which would suspend the enforcement of local regulations prohibiting restaurants from selling unprepared food to the public.

The state currently has 180 plus confirmed cases of COVID-19, which include two from Adair County, 17 in Boone, one in Callaway, five in Cole, one in Cooper, and one in Moniteau counties.
