Paris Man Seriously Injured In A Monroe County Accident

A Paris man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident on Monroe County Route M, eight-and-a-half miles southwest of Paris just after 3:00 Tuesday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports a dump truck driven by 71-year old Gale Wilkerson traveled off the right side of the road. He over-corrected and the truck went off the left side of the road and overturned. Wilkerson was flown to Columbia for treatment.
