The annual Pearls Of Production: Women In Agriculture conference will adopt a different name as a result of it going virtual next month. This year’s Pixels Of Production series will take place over four nights in November beginning November 5th. University of Missouri Extension swine nutritionist Marcia Shannon says the range of topics are broad but primarily geared toward empowering women on the farm.

The November 12th session will focus on opportunities for women to advance their operations. Shannon says each night will feature a keynote speaker, and the 12th will feature a pioneer in animal agriculture.

The keynote speaker November 17th will be Amberley Snyder, a champion barrel racer who continued competing even after becoming paralyzed in a car crash.

The cost to take part in all four nights of the Pixels of Production conference is 70 dollars. More details are available on University of Missouri Extension’s website.
