The Palmyra Panthers held on for a 26-22 win over Monroe City in Friday night’s district championship. Monroe City scored first on a Ceaton Pennewell 1 yard touchdown run almost five minutes into the game, before Palmyra answered with three touchdowns in a seven-minutes span at the end of the first and start of the second quarters.
