A Macon man suffered moderate injuries in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 63 a half mile north of Route K at Cairo around 6:50 Monday morning. The State Highway Patrol says Chase Harrington’s car struck the back of a dump truck that had slowed because another vehicle had struck a deer. Harrington’s car was hit from behind by another car. Harrington was taken to Columbia. Neither the driver of the dump truck, 58-year-old David Watts of Excello, nor of the other car, 75-year-old Raymond Logston of Kirksville, was injured. There were also no injuries in the vehicle that struck the deer.
