One Arrested in Moberly Standoff

A 34-year-old Moberly man has now been charged, following his arrest after a standoff in the 800 block of Franklin Street in Moberly Tuesday night. 34-year-old Zeno Tyler Finley is charged with three counts of unlawful use of a weapon, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of a controlled substance. The Moberly Police Department says officers originally responded to a report that a man fired a handgun in the area of the 800 block of Bond. They learned the man ran south to Franklin and officers set a perimeter around an apartment building, after tracking the subject to a stairwell in that building. The occupants were evacuated, and the Moberly SWAT team was activated. Officers used less than lethal force and arrested the man after about a two-hour standoff. He was taken to MRMC for treatment, then the Randolph County Jail once he was discharged. A small caliber handgun was found on-scene.
