10/30/20 Salisbury at Westran opening round district football: Westran quarterback Derrick Merritt had a big night on the ground as he ran the ball 16 times for 246 yards and four touchdowns in Westran’s 55-20 win over Salisbury.

10/30/20 Southern Boone at Macon opening round district football: Southern Boone receiver Blake Dapkus hauled in nine catches for 162 yards and five touchdowns in the Eagles 61-29 victory over Macon.

10/30/20 South Shelby at Mark Twain opening round district football: Mark Twain’s Evan Toerrence accounted for all three Tiger touchdowns as ran 20 times for 129 yards and two touchdowns and had a 94 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the Tigers 18-14 win over South Shelby.

10/28/20 Vienna at Salisbury Class 1 semifinal softball: Vienna catcher Gabby Wilkinson went 2-2 with a single and the go-ahead home run in Vienna’s 5-4 victory over Salisbury.

10/28/20 Platte Valley at La Plata Class 1 semifinal softball: Despite a disappointing 18-0 loss to powerhouse Platte Valley the whole La Plata team receives the Player of the Game award for a 23-6 season and their first State Final Four birth since 2001.

10/24/2020 Leeton at Salisbury Class 1 quarterfinal softball: Salisbury’s Jaden Howard went 2-4 with 3 RBIs and a walk.  She also pitched the full seven innings while striking out four and allowing five runs on eight hits in Salisbury’s 12-5 win over Leeton.

10/24/20 La Plata at Braymer Class 1 quarterfinal softball: La Plata’s Claire Coy had two hits, reached base four times, and drove in La Plata’s lone run, while her sister Olivia Coy struck out 19 batters over nine innings as La Plata defeated Braymer 1-0 to advance to the state semi-finals.

10/24/20 Monroe City at Penney Class 2 semifinal softball: Monroe City junior Carly Youngblood went 1-2 with two walks, three stolen bases and scored two runs in a 10-3 loss to Penney in the Class 2 semifinals.

10/23/20 Harrisburg at Marceline football: Marceline junior running back Hunter Nelson carried the ball 14 times for 143 yards and four touchdowns in Marceline’s 56-8 win over Harrisburg.

10/23/20 Centralia at Palmyra football: Palmyra quarterback Brody Lehenbauer had a rushing touchdown and went 7-19 passing for 191 yards and a touchdown in Palmyra’s 19-14 win for Clarence Cannon Conference rival Centralia.

10/23/20 Westran at Paris football: Westran running back Kolby Dale ran the ball 24 times for 185 yards and four touchdowns in Westran’s 33-6 win over Paris.

10/22/20 Canton at La Plata Class 1 sectional softball: La Plata’s Paige Carvajal went 2-3 with a double and drove in all four Lady Bulldog runs, and pitcher Olivia Coy struck out 16 batters over seven innings to lead La Plata past top-ranked and previously unbeaten Canton 4-3.

10/22/20 Blair Oaks at Centralia Class 3 quarterfinal softball: Blair Oaks pitcher Alexis Findley went the full seven innings striking out eight and walking two while scattering six hits in a 4-0 shutout victory over Centralia.

10/21/20 Monroe City at Marceline Class 2 quarterfinal softball: Monroe City junior Mackenzie Moss went 4-5 with a double 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored in Monroe City’s 13-7 victory over Marceline.

10/17/20 Salisbury vs Cairo district championship softball game: Salisbury sophomore Jaden Howard went 2-4 with 3 RBI, and also pitched a complete game by striking out 15 Cairo Lady Cat batters in a 6-5 district championship victory.

10/16/20 Mexico at Moberly football: Moberly senior Devin DeWolfe provided a career game with three receptions for 62 yards and one touchdown. Moberly defeated rival Mexico 28-21 to win the NCMC championship.

10/16/20 Westran at Marceline football: Marceline junior Wyatt Molloy threw a halfback pass for 41 yards on the first play from scrimmage, ran for 94 yards and a touchdown, and had a 41 yard touchdown reception in Marceline’s 45-6 win.

10/16/20 Centralia at Macon football: Centralia senior Luke Hunter rushed for an unofficial 195 yards and a touchdown in Macons 34-18 victory over Macon.

10/15/20 Cairo at Westran district semi-final softball: Cario’s Kacie Callahan pitched the full eight innings while striking out eight and allowing just two runs in Cairo’s 4-2 win over Westran.

10/14/20 Centralia at Moberly district softball: Centralia’s Kaelyn Walters allowed only one hit and struckout ten through the first five innings as Centralia rolled past Moberly 8-1.

10/9/20 Moberly at Hannibal football: Moberly middle linebacker Jacksyn Miller had 11 tackles, including one tackle for loss and nine solo tackles which led a stout defensive effort in Moberly’s 14-13 win over Hannibal.

10/9/20 Monroe City at Macon football: Monroe City’s Joshua Talton ran the ball 18 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns in Monroe City’s 30-7 win

10/9/20 Stanberry at North Shelby football: North Shelby junior Cale Stoneburner recorded two interceptions and rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns in a 36-34 overtime loss to Stanberry

10/8/20 Paris at Sturgeon softball: Sturgeon senior catcher Taylor Harris hit a walkoff RBI single to give Sturgeon a 5-4 over Paris.  Harris caught a solid game behind the plate for the Lady Bulldogs.

10/2/20 Battle at Moberly football: Moberly’s Toby Short had 11 receptions for 173 yards and 4 touchdowns in the 37-36 loss to Battle.

10/2/20 Paris at Fayette football: Fayette’s Garren Vroman had a 73-yard touchdown reception on Fayette’s first play of the second half in their 32-0 win over Paris.  Vroman finished with three receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown also had eight carries for 104 yards and a touchdown in the game.

10/2/20 Macon at South Shelby football: Macon’s Preston Stewart had two interceptions with one returned 25 yards for a touchdown.  Stewart also had seven carries for 60 yards in Macon’s 50-0 win.
