NWS Predicting Significant Snow North of Highway 36

Highway 36 appears to be the dividing line between a significant amount of snow, and a snow-freezing rain mix, heading into next week. Spencer Mell, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill says the initial wave could begin Saturday night.

We could be looking at a mixture of precipitation early Monday.

Areas south of Highway 36 will also likely see some accumulation of snow.

Areas south of Highway 24 also have a chance of snow and rain on Wednesday.
