11/30 Marceline at Lincoln
Marceline’s Colby Sims recorded 17 tackles in a 46-20 state semifinal loss to Lincoln. Sims finished the season with 175 total tackles and finished his career with 391 total tackles.
11/25 Monroe City at Moberly Girls Basketball
Moberly’s Alessia Oliver had 18 points, went 10-12 from the free throw line and played a key role defensively in a 68-65 double overtime win over Monroe City.
11/23 Marceline at South Callaway
Marceline senior Freddie Bascus turned in another impressive defensive effort by recovering two fumbles, including one in the endzone for a touchdown, in the Tigers 20-7 victory in the Class 1 quarterfinal game.
11/23 Clark County at Hallsville
Clark County’s Caleb Lapsley rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns including a 73 yard touchdown in Clark County’s 22-7 victory over Hallsville in a Class 2 quarterfinal game.
11/15 North Shelby at Southwest Livingston
Southwest Livingston quarterback Mack Anderson ran for 324 yards and seven touchdowns on 32 carries. He also went 7-18 passing for 87 yards in Southwest Livingston’s 56-38 win in the district title game.
11/15 Sweet Springs at Marceline
Marceline’s Cullen Bruner scored on a 65 yard touchdown reception on the Tigers’ second play from scrimmage. He finished with three receptions for 73 yards and ran for 101 yards. He also added a 42-yard field goal in Marceline’s 23-14 district championship victory.
11/15 O’Fallon Christian at Hallsville
Hallsville’s Cooper Crane and Mason Huskey led the Indians to their first ever district title. Crane led the team in rushing with 225 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries. Meanwhile, Huskey had 166 yards and four second half touchdowns on just 17 carries in the 40-27 victory.
11/8 Palmyra at Monroe City
Palmyra quarterback Corder Lehenbauer went 10-17 for 132 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 101 yards on ten carries for two more touchdowns in Palmyra’s 44-22 victory over Monroe City.
11/8 Moberly at Lutheran St. Charles
Moberly suffered a 41-0 district semi final loss. The Spartans struggled statistically so Regional Radio recognized senior Austin Laughlin for his overall contributions on the offensive and defensive lines this season. Laughlin solidified the center position for the Spartans with First-Team All-NCMC honors after Moberly experienced snap issues early in the season.
11/8 Macon at Clark County
Clark County quarterback Sam Wheeler went 7-11 for 174 yards passing and four touchdowns. He also added 42 yards rushing on seven carries in Clark County’s 52-14 district semi final victory.
11/2 Palmyra vs Sherwood Softball Class 2 Championship
Sherwood’s Mackenzie Morgan shut down the Palmyra offense striking out 14 Lady Panther hitters and allowing just one hit in Sherwood’s 2-0 in the Class 2 State Championship. Morgan was also 2-2 at the plater with a pair of singles and an RBI.
11/2 Salisbury vs Canton Softball Class 1 Championship
Salisbury’s Caden Stapleton belted a three-run home run in the top of the 4th inning to break open a scoreless game to help Salisbury to a 4-1 victory over Canton the Class 1 State Championship game.11/2 Harrisburg at Paris
Harrisburg sophomore Jace Carr had 6 catches for 189 yards and 3 touchdowns, including two 70-yard scores, in the Bulldogs 30-24 win over Paris in the first round of district play.
11/1 Fulton at Moberly
Moberly’s Dominic Stoneking went 4-6 passing as quarterback for 65 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 79 yards on five carries and two touchdowns. Stoneking also recorded an interception while playing defense in Moberly 35-0 route of Fulton.
11/1 Salisbury vs Maysville Softball Class 1 Semi Final
Salisbury’s Bryn Wooldridge went a perfect 3-3 at the plate with two singles and a two-run home run, while also walking twice. She also pitched the full seven innings for the Lady Panthers giving up three runs on six hits, while striking out nine and walking three in Salisbury’s 9-3 victory over Maysville.
11/1 Marceline vs Palmyra Softball Class 2 Semi Final
Palmyra’s Bailey Lovelace went 3-4 with two home runs including a game-winning grand slam in the top of the seventh inning of Palmyra’s 9-8 victory. Lovelace finished with seven RBIs and three runs scored in the victory.
11/1 Marceline vs East Carter Class 2 Third Place Game
Marceline’s Maisie Billups led the way for the Lady Tigers by going 3-4 with two doubles and an RBI in Marceline’s 6-0 win over East Carter.
