North Shelby has a new softball coach. Donny Williams takes over a program that went 13-4 this past fall, but lost in the first round of districts. Williams is the father of standout junior Ava Williams. He says this was one of the only head coaching jobs he considered.

Williams thinks the transition to becoming head coach will be a smooth one.

Williams says the Lady Raiders have already had some camps to prepare for what they hope is a successful fall.

Williams replaced Haley Hardy.
