The North Shelby School District is considering its next step after Proposition Raiders failed to pass with district voters earlier this month. The proposal would have increased the tax levy to increase staff salary. Superintendent Tinna Croy says they’d like to better inform the community.
The committee should begin meeting in the next few months.
The plan is to present a set tax levy increase to the committee. Croy says this is an opportunity for citizens to shape the next ballot proposal.
