New Randolph County Warning Siren Installed On Route EE

A new outdoor warning siren has been installed on the grounds of the Eastern Randolph County Fire Protection District on Route EE east of Highway 63. Emergency Management Director David Gaines says approximately 155 homes will be served by the new siren….

Funding for the siren was provided by a grant from the State of Missouri’s Emergency Management Agency, which is an agency within the Department of Public Safety. The grant paid the full cost of the siren and the installation. The project was funded at a cost of $29,192.

The is the second new area of Randolph County to receive a siren from the same grant program in the last two years. The other area is in the Holiday Acres area. In the past three years, the City of Cairo and the City of Moberly have upgraded sirens.
