New Marceline Football Coach Peterson Says Tigers are Ready to Reload

Marceline’s Joey Peterson reports on his first month as the Tigers’ head football coach.

Peterson discusses play calling duties.

Peterson follows 2021 KRES Coach of the Year Mark Ross at Marceline. Ross accepted the Southern Boone job. Peterson’s Tigers will feature nine first-year starters on both offense and defense.

Marceline lost to East Buchanan 21-7 in the state championship last year. Peterson further praises the young talent.

Marceline owns three straight district championships and seven consecutive Lewis and Clark Conference titles. Peterson provides a message to Marceline fans.

The new Marceline coach served three years on Macon’s staff, including nine games as Macon’s interim coach last season. Peterson previously assisted one year at Fayette then six seasons at his alma mater Mountain Grove.
