New Green City Softball Coach Excited For First Head Coaching and Teaching Opportunity

Green City will have a new softball coach this fall. Kennedy Christian was hired in April to replace Amber Liebhart. Christian was super excited to get the phone call from the Gophers.

Christian played softball at NCMC for two years before transferring to Missouri Western to finish her Chemistry degree. She was also an assistant softball coach for Putnam County. Christian says she never lost her love for the game.

The Gophers finished 8-9 last year. Christian believes there pieces are there to find success this fall.

Christian will serve as a high school science teacher for Green City. She will teach chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and physics.
