New Glass Recycling Bunker Coming to Moberly

Last month, the city of Moberly received a grant to construct a new glass recycling bunker. Public Works Director Tom Sanders says the project is set to get underway shortly.

Moberly currently has one glass recycling bunker located at the city’s transfer station. Sanders says they needed more capacity to match the demand.

The new bunker will also allow residents in neighboring communities to bring their glass to Moberly for recycling purposes.
