New Fulton Coach Starts Rebuild Without Top Returning Player

The formidable task of rebuilding the Fulton football program for new head coach Dana Chambers, Junior, got more difficult with the offseason news that dynamic athlete Courtland Simmons was leaving…..

As a freshman, Simmons had a game against Moberly where he accounted for five touchdowns and 358 yards of total offense. Meanwhile, Chambers inherits a Fulton program from Moberly native Trey Barrow, who stepped away from coaching after a 1-9 season. The Hornets haven’t won more than three games the last four years.

Chambers started his coaching career with 2010 with his dad in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 2010.

Dana Chambers, Junior, was the defensive coordinator at Hickman High School when he took the Fulton job in May. The Hornets will host Osage to start the season August 27th.
