Current Blair Oaks Interim Superintendent Mark Harvey has been hired as Boonville’s new superintendent. Harvey explains what attracted him to Boonville.

Harvey adds the district has several systems in place that make it a good job to jump into.

Harvey brings 30 years of experience in education. That includes 21 years at the Pike County R-3 School District in Clarksville where he served as elementary principal and then superintendent. He says he’s learned some important lessons over the years.
