NCAA PLAYOFF HOPES ON THE LINE WHEN TRUMAN VISITS UINDY
UIndy first year head coach Chris Keevers says this game takes on a playoff atmostphere….
The Greyhounds already had the 2018 GLVC Offensive Player of the Year returning in running back Al McKeller. Just before the season, the Greyhounds added SBU transfer and 2016 GLVC Offensive Player of the Year in quarterback T.J. Edwards. Nesbitt says he makes defending the UIndy offense tougher…..
Truman has its own dual-threat quarterback in Jaden Barr, who is approaching 9,000 yards of total offense in his career. Coach Keevers says his defense barely needs a scouting report on the Bulldog offense….
The winner stays alive for a conference title as well, but needs a Lindenwood loss in one of its final two games. The Greyhounds haven’t loss consecutive games since September of 2016. The Bulldogs are looking for just the seventh 9-win season in school history. You can hear the game Saturday evening from Indianapolis starting with the Truman Tailgate at 4:10. Brad, Kevin and Hank will have the call.
