The Central Methodist, Missouri Valley, and Columbia College mens’ and womens’ soccer teams now know their destinations and first round opponents for the 2021 NAIA Tournament. In the men’s bracket, all three schools will be hosting four-team regionals. The defending national champion Missouri Valley Vikings will host Hastings, Nebraska at 2 pm on Thursday in Marshall. Columbia College will host Point, Georga Thursday at 1 pm. Top-ranked Central Methodist will open their tournament account with a 12:30 kickoff on Thursday against Tabor, Kansas.
In the women’s bracket, both Central Methodist and Columbia College find themselves in the same regional at Battle High School in Columbia. Central Methodist holds the top seed in that regional and will face Bellevue, Nebraska at 12:30 pm on Thursday. Meanwhile, Columbia will face Jamestown, North Dakota in Thursday’s night cap at 5:30. Meanwhile, Missouri Valley will travel to Hattiesburg, Mississippi where they will be a two-seed in that regional. The Lady Vikings will face Reinhardt, Georgia Thursday at 3 pm. Top-Ranked William Carey of Mississippi and Louisiana Christian round out the Hattiesburg bracket.
