Multi-Species Grazing Workshop April 30th in Clinton

A workshop set for next Tuesday in west central Missouri’s Clinton aims to encourage cattle producers around the state to share their pastures with sheep and goats.  The effort to introduce multi-species grazing has grown in areas impacted by drought the past two years, according to University of Missouri Extension small ruminant specialist David Brown.

Brown explains his goals for the workshop that will run from noon to 4 p.m.

The multi-species grazing workshop in Clinton on April 30th is free, but registration is required before Friday by visiting the University of Missouri Extension’s website or calling the Henry County Extension Office at 660-885-5556.
