The coalition urging farmers to watch out for a common pest is declaring October as SCN Action Month. The SCN Coalition, formed to deal with the spread of soybean cyst nematodes, is calling on farmers to scout their fields for the yield-sapping pest. Bish adds that during October, farmers can have the cost of testing some of their samples covered.
