MSHSAA Executive Director Dr. Kerwin Urhahn discusses the organization’s mindset amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Urhahn joined us on Magic City Sports Talk on KWIX Friday. MSHSAA announced March 24th there are no changes to spring sports championships in response to the coronavirus. Urhahn reveals how long MSHSAA can extend its postseason.
Urhahn says MSHSAA will not hold a postseason if schools do not return. The executive director anticipates MSHSAA will determine its spring championship plans at the end of April given schools will have finalized whether or not they will return.
