Funeral for former Moberly Mayor Lawrence Rucker will be held tomorrow (Mon.). Rucker was an All-Region player for coach Cotton Fitzsimmons and the Greyhounds in the early 1960’s. Current Moberly Mayor Jerry Jeffrey says Rucker displayed that same teamwork in making an impact on the community.
Our Operations Manager, Brad Boyer, got to know Rucker while in the same EXCEL class as Rucker in the early 90’s.
The funeral for 81-year old Robert “Lawrence” Rucker will be Monday at 12 at Cater Funeral Home Chapel, in Moberly. Visitation will held from 10 until 12 at the funeral home. Committal prayer and burial will take place at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
